Chipnuts Research Competition - Terms and Conditions

1. Submission Guidelines

Participants may submit:

• For research:
  • An adaptation of an existing research paper that has been fully understood and rewritten in the participant’s own method.
  • A combination of multiple research papers with added value and clear explanations.
  • A novel research solution.
• For codes, diagrams, models, and other deliverables:
  • An open-source code with MIT, Apache, or BSD license.
  • A genuine code that is either out of innovation or a reference code.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

• All submissions and innovations become the intellectual property of Chipnuts.
• Participants assign all ownership rights of their research to Chipnuts.
• Participants may be considered for future consulting or contributions.

3. Data Collection and Privacy

• Entrants agree to share contact information and resumes with Chipnuts.
• Data will be retained for Chipnuts-related activities.
• Data won’t be shared externally without consent.

4. Liability and Disclaimers

• Chipnuts is not responsible for disputes over prior ownership of submitted materials.
• Participants must ensure they have the rights to submit any third-party materials.

5. Prize Pool and Evaluation

• Total prize pool: $1,000.
• Prize distribution depends on effort quality and comparative gaps.
• No guarantee that the full prize pool will be awarded.
• Judging panel’s decisions are final.

6. Acceptance of Terms

• By submitting a registry form, participants acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
